He completed his Aalimiyah and secular studies in London before travelling to Egypt where he furthered his studies in Arabic, memorisation of the Qur’an and Qira’ah (Quranic Intonation). Thereafter, he studies the science of Ifta (Islamic Jurisprudence) at Darul Uloom Bury. Shaykh Abdus Subhan has completed his LLB Law and thereafter a MRes in Islamic studies wherein he published a thesis focusing on the Development of Islamic Legal Rulings. He serves as an Imam and a Khatib in North London and teaches the Aalimiyah course at various institutions.

Excellent work

The author, Mufti Abdus- Subhan presents a brief overview and history of prayer, followed by common excuses and situations a believer finds themselves in throughout the day, concluding with advices for rectification and improvement towards steadfastness.

Motivational and easy to read book

This book is very good as it is short and motivates one to pray the daily 5 prayers. Talks about the importance of prayer at the end there are 40 ahadith on the virtues of salat. I would definitely recommend this book.
